12!?

2014 is has some very important birthdays in our family…Emily is 12! I still can't get my mind wrapped around the fact that my baby is 12 years old. She can though ;) 

Emily's idea of a great birthday means one thing….PARTY!!!

A family who works out together...

It's no secret at our house that Emily doesn't like to run, exercise or do anything that might make you sweat! Knowing how important it is for EVERYONE to do SOME kind of exercise, Emily has decided to dance to different songs on youtube 3 times a week.

18!?

 JAC IS NOW 18!

Jac decided to start her day with a PAJAMA RUN…of COURSE!

Some of Jac's "wimpier" friends came later to help celebrate with waffles 

Dinner was spent with Grandma and Grandpa Whiting, Uncle Wade and Mitch (who just got home from his mission) and his good friend, Christian, Nicki and Davin Parish and of course…Us ;)

Black bean brownies…yep, it was a pretty exciting day of being 18!

It's going to be a very exciting year!

Snowshoeing with the Family

This year the snow was PERFECT for snowshoeing during Christmas break

Our next trip was to Donut Falls up Big Cottonwood Canyon

Actually, it's a very easy hike…just a little tricky to get to the cave

It was worth the climb!!

This year we spent the day with the Parish's and Grandma and Grandpa Whiting

It was a wonderful evening with white elephant gifts and watching a darling nativity video. We ended the night with our testimonies of Christ…a perfect way to celebrate our Saviors birth!
