We don't get to watch Jackie race very often so we were VERY excited to take a trip to Reno to watch the Mountain west Championship race
After finishing strong at her first race...things took a different turn. Jackie found out she had MONO...AGAIN! To say she was disappointed is an understatement; BUT she was determined to make the best of the situation. Her coaches kept her running by cutting her workouts in half. It allowed her to still race, not as strongly as she had hoped but she was able to keep running and still be with her team.
We are so proud of how hard she worked to stay in the race and give it all she had on such a HARD course!
She finished 5th on her team...way to go Jackie!
Jackie was voted as team captain...this is a great reason why!
Love this girls dedication and trust in the Lord!
She wrote this on her hand to remind her of who is really in charge ;)
After the race, we decided to drive to Lake Tahoe

It was hard to leave the warmth and beauty. It was so peaceful...a perfect day with our daughter!
