Temples and Tombs

Did you know that Thomas' real name is THOMOR? He is a very famous Pharaoh who graced us with his presence for just one night...
Boys getting to dress up as Egyptians and wear make-up...FUN TIMES!
Thomas LOVES to perform... he did a fantastic job! He knows how to bring LIFE to anything he does :)
"THOMOR's" death mask... sadly this great Pharaoh passed away while valiantly fighting for his people... Thank goodness we have his "Gods" and Kartush' to remember him by :)

This brings back memories. All our kids did King Tut exhibits. That is so fun that you have pictures of it. I don't think I have any. I love being updated on your blog. It makes us feel apart of their lives.
Thomas hope you "Walked like an Egyptian!"

Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am a friend of Misha Peay. I have been reading your blog for a while after Misha recommended it to me but I haven't commented before. My 5 year old, Jared, is hearing impaired and also had a kidney transplant when he was two. So, he is immunosuppressed because of medications to keep his kidney. He also goes to the preschool with the USDB in Orem.

I am wondering if you have had any issues with Emily and ear infections with her hearing aids. Jared had tubes put in when they were trying to diagnose his hearing loss, and since he has had his hearing aids he has had many ear infections. More than he ever had before his tubes and hearing aids. One of them was so bad that it ended up causing a blood infection. None of the doctors think that the hearing aids could be causing the infections but because of his immunosuppresion I am wondering if that could be the source. You are the only one that I know of that has similar circumstances. Have you ever had problems with Emily with this? And if you have, do you disinfect her ear molds and with what?

Emily is an absolute doll! Sorry that I haven't introduced myself sooner. I always enjoy reading your blog. You seem like such a happy, close family. Thank you!
