Another tooth gone!
Maybe this is why she doesn't eat!
Emily went to her Immunologist this week and she is doing fantastic! Seriously, her ANC(5100) and WBC have never looked so good. They tested her blood to see if she would be able to fight the flu. It wasn't a great response but it DID respond! which shows us it's happening; our daughter is getting an immune system!
She got the H1N1 vaccine yesterday. You would have thought someone was going to cut her open! She has been scarred for life from the 6 vaccinations she got last month. So far there are no signs of feeling sick at all :)
Emily is struggling with her weight which is down to 17.5 but what's new? She is still having mysterious stomach pains too. It seems to come and go, staying for a few weeks then takes a break before coming back. Hopefully it will eventually go away for good. She's been a real trooper because I've been making her go to school anyway because it is a great distraction. I figure if she can still play, she can surely go to school :) It's amazing how motivated this child is by friends!
Other then these minor issues she is doing well and staying HEALTHY. She is getting over a sinus infection but that's it! Hopefully the rest of the winter will go the same.

This post made me cry, you saying that she is getting an immune system! What a miracle she is and a blessing. We are so inspired at your love, faith, courage, and strength. What a great day to celebrate!

We all have waited and prayed for this day she is a miracle, in every way, what faith and example all of the Heaps are, I know her stomach pains bother her and I wish I could take them for her, hopefully they will just go away maybe we wil never know what causes them, but she is very brave and really doesn't complain, she definetly isn't motivated by food but friends is a good motivater, what ever works, I'm sure its hard to eat when your stomach hurts. Love you Emily, you are going to have a great life full of excitement, you bring excitement to life! Love you
