It is VERY hard to believe that Grandpa Whiting is 70 years old. Why is it so hard to believe? The kids said it perfectly over a yummy dinner of meatloaf, potatoes and salad. Here are just a few:- Grandpa never LETS you win at games he's a little competitive :)
- Grandpa LOVES to be with his family
- Grandpa always SUPPORTS us in our activities (this is why we gave him a Lehi Pioneers hat of course!)
- Grandpa is a very HARD WORKER
- Grandpa loves to GIVE in any way he can!
- Grandpa loves to TEASE and have FUN
- Grandpa acts like a KID :) hey, it keeps life interesting right?!
We topped off our meal with a family favorite, Chocolate cake (with pudding and chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting), ice cream and chocolate fudge sauce.
Can he blow them out?
I think Grandpa had a moment of reflection as he looked at the 70!!
Don't worry Dad, it's been a wonderful 70 years!
Thank goodness for strong boys like Thomas and Davin to help him out :)
We asked Grandpa what he wanted to do for his special day; he jokingly said,"Costco" SO, that's what we did. We walked around while the kids played a game or two of "Wheres Waldo"
FUN TIMES!
