SURPRISE!

Thomas thought he was going to help set up chairs with his Dad but...
SURPRISE!
Instead, he was greeted with silly string and some of his closest friends.
Thomas' friends LOVE to play with swords and shields. They have created their own world in the huge sand pit behind our house to resemble the Percy Jackson series. When Matt suggested we ask our neighbor, Brother Norton who just happens to be a professional Fencer,  to teach the kids how to fence for Thomas' party we knew it was the PERFECT idea :)
Scott Larsen, Mason Draper, Matt Jones, Thomas, and Katie Struthers
THOMAS IS READY....

Emily even got into it with her ballet/fencing moves :)

We ended the night with a sword cake and ice-cream

Grandma, Grandpa and Jac made a great audience!

HAPPY #12 Thomas!
we love you :)
