Jac is 16!!!
Jac and her friend Ian have the same birthday so we decided to throw a joint surprise birthday party!
As all surprise birthdays seem to go...we had a few detours; Jacs run took longer than expected, the church was being used already, another church was being used and ANOTHER church was being used! No need to fear, we finally found one and Ian and Jac were clueless! They thought they were just hanging out with friends trying to find a place to play basketball :)
As the group was getting kicked out of this church (after just 10 minutes!) they found the kitchen open and ready for LUNCH.
SURPRISE!
After eating lunch they played some fun games like:
SOCK WRESTLING!
good thing it's cool to have skinned, raw knees right?
The next day was Jacs official Birthday...time to get her LICENSE!
She was just a little excited :) Grandma came early to get Emily off to school so we could be at the DMV first thing!
Jac got her favorite dinner...Sweet Potato Curry and homemade mango yogurt for desert!
Thomas gave Jac a book (on loan from the library hee hee) titled,
"What girls need to know about boys"
just in time for dating!
It actually has some very good stuff in it! Way to go Thomas :)

How lucky Drapers - and especially Kenz - are to have enjoyed a lot of these 16 years with Jac. She is a great friend and always adds a positive touch wherever she goes. We love when that positive touch is brought to our house.
Happy Birthday Jac! Can't wait to see what the next year brings. Although it would be hard to top 15. :)
16?!? Really?! Happy Birthday Jac! I love all the things your mom wrote about you! I'm sure it was hard to only write 16! You are an amazing young lady, and are a great example to everyone around you! I hope you have the most memorable birthday ever!

Jac, you're definitely one of the most positive people to be around. I don't think I've heard you say an unkind word ever. Do you know to put your homework in scrapbook sleeves so it doesn't get wet as fast? =D Love the present from Thomas! We're missing you Jac! We loved getting some of you over the holidays!!!!!!!!! I love it, I could add a lot more then 16, and I did know all those things about this special unique now 16 year old. Her brothers gift was great. What a girl and what a great year she is going to have. Looke out world her comes Jac!!!1 Love you
Seriously, weren't we just inviting little 5 yr olds over to have Shirley Temple parties?! I seriously can't believe this!! Jac, you have always been beautiful in every way...but the more life you live, the more you just SHINE!! I love you SOOOO much! Happy Birthday!
