We spent FHE in the mountains but as you can see there just wasn't quite enough time to really enjoy ourselves so... I checked the kids out of their classes and we
PLAYED, I mean had
SCHOOL in the
mountains! Too bad Dad couldn't do his work in the mountains!The kids collected leaves and took some great photos along the way. Emily even found a new little friend that we named "Sir Fuzzy Fro" He is extremely active! He crawled across 100 pages of a magazine on our drive home. Now, if we can just figure out what kind of Caterpillar he is...hmm...
We are extremely blessed to live so close to such beauty! The colors are
amazing! I think the Lord knew we needed this kind of beauty so we would embrace the changing weather:)
Who needs a stuffy classroom when you can have HANDS ON learning like this?! For at least one day anyway :)

It was sooo cold today I can't believe how beautiful the pictures are and the kids don't look like they are freezing, it must of been warmer where you were, how fun that you take time for the very important moments, what a great mom and of course great Kids
